From clinical services to finance, governance, and regulatory compliance the team ensures that the hospital functions smoothly as a business and continues to be innovative, responsive to their patient base, and successful. Senior Leadership Team
Dr. Carlos Kidel, Medical Director
Dr Kidel has been the Medical Director of Harley Street Specialist Hospital since September 2020. He is a consultant anaesthetist and has extensive experience working in many NHS and private hospitals in Central London. Dr Kidel still holds a full-time substantive post as a consultant anaesthetist in a large London Teaching Hospital. Patient safety and quality are key passions for Dr Kidel, and he continues to lead and deliver quality improvement projects within Harley Street Specialist Hospital, drawing on his experiences from both the public and independent sector. He also holds a senior post within Health Education England as a training programme director for the Central London area.
Sara Ahmed, Director of Clinical Services
With over 14 years of clinical experience in the private health sector in the UK and abroad she brings value as a highly experienced Senior Scrub Lead Theatre Practitioner, Theatre Manager as well as her last position as a Clinical Operations and Patient Experience Service Excellence Manager. Sara is passionate about providing quality planned care and has a proven track record from her time with the HCA, London Bridge Hospital and the NHS. Her breath of knowledge across specialties including orthopaedics, major plastics, micro vascular, oncology and maxillofacial surgery will undoubtedly pave the way for HSSH and our team to achieve our strategic vision.
